    Take-Along Tether

The first time I tried my Take-Along Tether, other moms wanted to know where to get one. I'd used another sippy-cup tether before, but it was poorly made and my child quickly figured out how to remove her cup from the Velcro closure. But my 2-year-old was no match for the Take-Along Tether.

THE VERDICT: It was durable, and that cup didn't budge until I removed it. I also attached myself to my child with the tether -- well, after I figured out how to do so. The instructions were a little difficult to understand at first. But I'd choose this tether over the harness system, which always makes me feel like I'm walking a pet, rather than my child.

WHERE TO GET IT: $15.99, available at the Nesting Place, 1679 W. Northwest Highway, Grapevine, Texas; Finders Keepers for Kids, 8509 Davis Blvd., North Richland Hills, Texas; www.takealongtether.com
