Pound the alarm: Nicki Minaj is pregnant!
The rapper and her husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, are expecting their first child together, she announced on Instagram Monday, along with some glam snapshots of her proudly displaying her baby bump.
The maternity shoot is Nicki Minaj-style, with the mom-to-be rocking a curly, bright-yellow hairdo, an intricately decorated floral bikini and sparkly platform stilettos in one of the photos. Another shows her in a ruffled bottom, white knee-high stockings and a blue updo, accented with a bright-green bow.
The happy news comes nine months after she and Petty got married and 10 months after Nicki, 37, announced she was retiring from music to focus on her family.
“I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me … Love you for LIFE,” she Tweeted.
