The end of the year is approaching, and you know what that means — lots o’ lists, including ones sharing the most popular baby names of the year. In our neighbor Canada’s maternity wards, certain names reigned supreme, according to BabyCenter Canada. You may expect many of the popular Canadian baby names to end in “eh,” but alas . . . most of the girls’ names continue to end with the ever-popular “ah.”

There were also some newcomers added to Canada’s top 100 baby names, such as boys’ names Kai, Kayden, Rowan, Sawyer, Micah, Ibrahim, Harrison, Easton, Arlo, and Atlas.
As for girls: Ruby, Rose, Josephine, Iris, Noa, Bella, Anaya, Myra, Georgia, Zara, Elena, and Lyla are among the rookies on the list.
