Beauty Tips From Your Fave Celebrity Moms

It’s not surprising that consumers often seek celebrity beauty advice. After all, many people in the industry are known for their glowing skin and flawless looks (thanks to their access to the top beauty experts), with celebrities such as Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, and Rihanna even launching their own cosmetic lines.

Celebrity moms are even more impressive – juggling hectic work schedules and taking care of their children while looking absolutely fabulous. It’s an unforgiving industry, so they have to work hard on looking their very best. This much is evident in every movie and red carpet event that they appear in. So who’s to say you can’t look just as glamorous as these celebrity moms? With that in mind, here are some beauty tips from the stars:

Use SPF Like Jennifer Lopez

The famous singer and mother of two swears by sunscreen. She claims that she’s been using SPF since she was in her early 20s and hasn’t stopped ever since. She’s even developed her own SPF formulation for her beauty line. It’s no secret that UV rays from the sun can cause a lot of skin damage. It can even age your skin prematurely resulting in photoaging. Creams with at least SPF 30 can significantly minimize these effects. Just remember to use sunscreen that isn’t too heavy so you won’t clog your pores. This is a simple tip that should be integral to your morning skincare routine.

Maintain Your Brows Like Brooke Shields

Brooke Shields is famous for her roles in movies like Pretty Baby and The Blue Lagoon. But she may be equally as famous for her iconic eyebrows. The model-turned-actress has long been praised for this distinct feature and many have tried to recreate it. Her answer? Don’t pluck them. When she was younger, her mother advised her to never touch her eyebrows, which the actress obviously took to heart. If you have thick eyebrows, it’s probably best to only pluck stray hair. You can also set your brows with a brow gel when you’re doing your makeup to keep them looking neater and fuller instead of constantly maintaining them. Find a product with castor oil for nourishment, and cellulose fibers to help your eyebrows look fuller.

Work Out Regularly Like Halle Berry

Berry started her career as a beauty queen in the ’80s and has since moved on to acting, starring in movies like X-Men and Die Another Day. The celeb is passionate about staying fit and exercises often. She even released her own line of gym equipment. Berry’s toned muscles are proof that she knows exactly what she’s doing. The star loves to do jump rope and says that her abs are her biggest problem. She says that she has to work extra hard on that area, but it seems like she’s got it all under control. Finding time to exercise might be difficult for mothers, so try breaking up a workout into 15-minute increments then doing them at different time of the day. This way, you can get the recommended amount of time for physical activity, and it won’t disrupt your schedule.

Eat Well Like Charlize Theron

What you eat can seriously affect the way you look (and your overall health). Charlize Theron, Oscar-winning star of Atomic Blonde, Mad Max, and Monster, says that one of the things she does to keep her skin glowing is to eat healthily. Her preferred diet is to eat raw and plant-based food. Healthy eating isn’t just limited to this though. Incorporating fruits and vegetables in your meals will have a great effect on how your skin looks by providing you with plenty of vitamins and minerals. So, stock up on your greens to achieve that gorgeous Charlize Theron glow.

We know that being a mom means you have less time to take care of yourself–but with these simple tips and tricks, you can look good and, even more important, feel great, too.
