School Year in the Pandemic: How It Started vs. How It’s Going

The Holderness Family hits the nail on the head yet again.

Oh, how we parents (and kids) have evolved from the beginning of this pandemic-fueled school year to the end.

The Holderness Family helps us laugh at the insanity once again with their latest video — and, as the mom of an 11- and 9-year-old, I can confirm this is the most accurate depiction of this school year I’ve seen so far. From adjusting to having to wear masks all the time (not to mention adjusting our expectations of what “success” looks like for our kids in a pandemic) to learning what the heck “asynchronous” means, we parents have come a long way in 2020-2021.
