Kim Zolciak-Biermann‘s son may be growing up fast — the six-year-old clearly takes after his 6’3″ football player dad Kroy Biermann — but he is still six years old, as Kim mentions in this Instagram post…
“My baby @kashbiermann on the way to school this morning! He is such a BIG BOY he is only 6,” Zolciak-Biermann wrote along with a see-no-evil monkey emoji. “He melts me his heart is unreal,” she said, adding the hashtag #HairKing.
But, of course, that didn’t stop the Internet police from shaming her for having her son in a booster car seat, as well as accusing of her of making him look older with his choice of clothes — a fleece jacket and khakis. How dare she! Also: huh?!
“Maybe if he was dressed like a 6 year old and not like a 16 year old prep school student, he MIGHT look a bit younger?” sniped one commenter, while another imparting unsolicited (and incorrect advice:) “Kim. He don’t need that booster seat NO MO.”
Kim took the criticism into stride, jokingly noting: “I’ll keep them in one until they are 18,” later telling another critic: “See where the seat belt falls… he needs a booster babe.”
For the record, state law in Georgia, where the Zolciak-Biermann family famously resides, dictates that children from four years to at least eight years must be in a booster seat.

Kim’s daughter, Kaia, expresses our feelings on the Internet police.
