Stop What You’re Doing, Parents, and Watch This IKEA Commercial

Let’s be honest: kids DO love them some toys for Christmas. (Mine have been writing their lists and checking ’em twice since, oh last Christmas.) However, that doesn’t diminish the message of this poignant commercial from IKEA in Spain (subtitled for those of us who think “hola” is a Hawaiian dance), in which they talk to kids and find out what they REALLY want for the holidays. SPOILER ALERT: It’s quality time with their parents. I know my 4-year-old son would certainly appreciate it if I put down the phone and, you know, aided him in destroying Darth Vader and saving the galaxy more often.
