Jamie Lynn Spears Is Pregnant With Her Second Child

Jamie Lynn Spears, 26, confirmed on Sunday that she got quite the Christmas gift: she’s pregnant with her second child! This is her first child with husband Jamie Watson.

“Looks like we are starting off 2018 with another big milestone…sooo happy to announce that Maddie is FINALLY going to be a big sister,” she captioned the Facebook photo of her, Watson and her daughter Maddie, who is 9. “2017 was filled with some of the biggest challenges of my life, as well as some of the biggest blessings, so I made a choice to lay low this year to focus on truly becoming my best self as a person and as an artist.”

Those “challenges” include, of course, Maddie’s near-fatal ATV accident in February, which had her on a ventilator during recovery. Her aunt Britney asked for “all the wishes and prayers” for Maddie during that time. Thankfully, Maddie made a miraculous recovery, showing no signs of neurological damage.

“2018 is going to be filled with many milestones both personally and professionally,” Jamie Lynn added. Indeed! Congrats to Jamie Lynn on her growing family.
