What a great way for Julia Louis-Dreyfus to kick off 2018 — yesterday was the Veep actress’ last day of chemotherapy treatment!
Louis-Dreyfus, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in September, completed her last round of chemo Thursday. To celebrate the momentous occasion, her sons — Charlie, 20, and Henry, 25 — decided to show their support in a lighthearted way.
The brothers sent their mom a video of themselves lip-syncing the words to Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” — complete with hand-pumps and hardcore expressions — which she shared on Instagram.
“Mom’s Last Chemo Day!! BEAT IT!!! Love, Henry and Charlie,” their introductory message reads.
“My beauty boys @henryhallmusic @charlie_hall made this for me today, my last day of chemotherapy,” Louis-Dreyfus, 56, captioned the video. “Pretty swell, right? Ain’t they sweet?”
Indeed. Oftentimes, humor is the best form of therapy. Congrats to Julia on marking her last day of chemo — and raising pretty great kids.
