Princess Charlotte Looks Excited in First Day of Nursery School Photos

As many parents celebrate the end of winter break and return to school,  Princess Charlotte actually embarked on her very first day of school.

The adorable two-year-old kicked off her academic career at Willcocks Nursery School in London today.

Prince William and Kate Middleton shared pictures of the young student via Kensington Palace’s Instagram account and, as usual, Kate was the one to snap the photos.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning,” the caption read. “The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School.”

Charlotte doesn’t show any sign of nervousness (probably tougher on Mom and Dad, as it so often is — even for royals!) as she flashed a smile on a staircase in a red coat. The young royal (well, her mom) accessorized her first-day outfit with a red bow, pink backpack and scarf and red shoes.
