Imagine this: You’re flying solo with your kids (I already have chills) — not just any kids, but two SIX-MONTH-OLD TWINS.
Da-da-dummmm.

This was the daunting task one mother was facing when, according to a post on the Facebook page called “Love What Matters,” the following happened:
It was “a very packed flight” that day, the witness explained, and the woman’s car seats had been taken at the gate, meaning that she had to then hold both her babies for the duration of the flight. Or at least, that’s what she thought — until she went to take her seat, and the flight attendant “immediately told her she couldn’t hold both babies, and would have to leave the flight.”
At which point the woman probably had a moment of panic–you know, after having suffered through all the preparation required to travel with babies, from getting through check-in and security and trudging through the airport carting ALL THE THINGS, plus tending to two infants — only to be turned away at the last moment. What fun!
Then a complete stranger kindly stepped in to help.
“A mother sitting in front of me, with permission from the other mother, volunteered to hold one of her babies for the entire flight,” Mackenzie Murphy recounted. She didn’t even hesitate to take on this responsibility, even though–get this–she was traveling with a young daughter of her own.
Further entrenching this woman in the sainthood, she reportedly held the baby, burped him and sang him songs, then he “slept the entire flight without even a cry”–even though they were stuck on the tarmac for 2 1/2 hours before embarking on their 45-minute flight.
The amazed witness also noted what happened when the woman’s own daughter began to cry:
“This mom, so calmly, went on to explain to her young daughter that ‘Our job is to help other people. This mom is all by herself with no help, and really needs another mom to help.’”
Here’s to us being even half as kind when we see somebody in need, especially our fellow parents.
